Change colour scheme
To be able to change the colour scheme from say, 'terrain' to 'satellite' or maybe change the land area to green and sea are to blue just to make it look more earth-like vs map-like.

Nice idea. There's definitely going to be the ability to change 'theme' to something that suits you.
Satellite/terrain is trickier as that data tends to be paid-for, but a tiny annual subscription would pay for it - might be something we could investigate if there's lots of interest!
